For the selected individuals who qualify for the services of Loving Hands Ministry, the alternative of spending a year at the Loving Hands facility is highly preferable to straight jail time.  Both the defendant and society benefit when a defendant is able to rehabilitate himself as opposed to simply being incarcerated.  I highly recommend the Ministry for those individuals who qualify.

RE:LOVING HANDS MINISTRY

LOVING HANDS MINISTRY IS A Christian Rehabilitation Program designed for adult males with drug alcohol problems.  The ministry has been successful in dealing with cases referred to the program by this office.

Mr. Wendell Wilson, the Executive Director is involved in many community programs and has worked diligently to make the program a success.  The program has grown over the years and has now expanded to other areas.

This program is well known in the community and I would recommend it as a viable alternative for the courts at time of sentencing.
